As far back as I can really remember, I've always known I was different from the people around me, and they knew I was different, too. Around the age of 17 or so, I realized what it was that separated me from the rest of the world. I am Otherkin.
The definition of Otherkin is a little hard to nail down to something specific, especially within the Otherkin community itself. But, the definition I use when I'm using the term Otherkin is: a person who, though human in physical terms, has a very non-human soul and mind. As such, there are many different types of Otherkin.
I would fit into two different Otherkin categories. I am a multiple (one who has more than one psyche or soul within the same body), and one of my aspects is the reincarnated soul of a being known as a V'lurian.
My five aspects are Karma, The Daemonchilde Subsystem, Ixia, Isis, and Takkaddu.
